What will I learn in my woodwind/brass lessons at Creative Keys Music School? Beginner students can expect to work on correct technique as well as fingerings and embouchure (correctly using the lips, facial muscles, tongue, and teeth in playing a wind instrument). They will also work on reading notes, rhythm, dynamics, and music theory while getting the best possible sound from their instrument. Intermediate to advanced students will learn techniques that will help take their playing to the next level, while enjoying pieces in a variety of genres.

Do I need to purchase an instrument?
You will need to have your own instrument to bring to your weekly lesson and to practice on at home. Rather than buying an instrument, you may want to consider renting from month to month. There are several options for renting an instrument locally – please contact us for more details.
